Yes they can be animated. NO FLASH AT THIS TIME! FLASH IS OK

Event promotion banners run until the day after the event. Other banners run for a week.
If you want the banner to run for longer, or wish to have a higher priority than the others contact me and we can discuss it.

For those that have tried to contact me before about banners, I apologize for not getting your emails. I have fixed the problem and will now be able to get every email that is sent to me.

Ad Campaigns
We are going to try out an ad campaign project on the forums. The standard banner ads are nice, and for the most part they work, but I do not feel that they are very effective. We have 2 ad zones, a Leaderboard at the top of the forums, and a Skyscraper on the left hand side. These areas are much larger and are linked together, meaning that both zones will show ads from your campaign. If you are interested in being apart of this beta test please send me an email or pm.

Yes. Send the swf too, just do not embed any links in it.

Update: We are going to allow flash. Better for longer animations since gif files can get pretty large. Too large to be served via MySQL.

In your flash make a transparent button over the banner with the url you wish to link to. DO NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A LINK.
